Current Client Information
For existing clients, we only hold the following data:
- Contact details, business address, phone and email
- Web address
- Additional domain names
This information is only collected from business owners who have agreed to purchase Chatsworth Web Design services, e.g. web design services, hosting or SEO services.
Why we need this data
We collect this data for on-going invoicing of services such as hosting. We may from time to time contact clients individually about matters regarding their website such as security updates.
We never share or sell our client data to any third parties.
How information is stored
We store your information on our secure servers which are located in the UK.
- All information between our invoicing system and your email is carried out over a secure SSL connections meaning that no one can intercept any data or access your site.
- The data is physically secured within the data centres and access is restricted to key maintenance personnel.
Enquiries from potential new clients
Data is also collected from potential new clients making enquiries to Chatsworth Web Design and Hosting. This data, (email or email generated by completing an enquiry form on our website) is held on a secure SSL server. This data is only held for replying to requests whereupon we ask about your business requirements for your website and general details on what you are trying to achieve with your online presence. This will help us get a good understanding of your requirements and enable us to provide a quote requested.
Any enquiries that do not convert to clients, the data will be deleted from the server.
New clients will be required to ‘consent’ to their business details being held on our invoicing system as described above.
